The figure on the left shows the Substation Data Gateway architecture:

· The Gateway uses standard Xekas Energy software components including:

 · IEC 61850 Client Development Environment with integrated Web GUI and Database

 · IEC Modbus Gateway

 · Xelas Mediation Framework with XMF and ODBC adaotors

Some of the Solution advantages:

· Future proof architecture

· Additional North-bound and South-bound adaptors can be easily added

· 61850 Client DE supports GOOSE and SV protocol modules (R-GOOSE and R-SV are also supported)

· Modbus mediation is configured through SCL files. No programming necessary.

· Native Web GUI provides process and data overview of the Gateway status

· Gateway can be tested with Xelas Energy IEC 61850 Simulators

· Mediation uses Javascript files which can be modified and loaded at runtime

· Out of the box protocols supported:

 · MMS

 · GOOSE and R-GOOSE

 · SV and R-SV
